Campervans are available from 8 locations across Australia including Alice Springs, Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

2 Berth Breezer

The Backpacker 2 Berth Breezer is suitable for 2 people looking for a basic campervan at low rates. The campervan offers a seating area in the rear which converts into a double bed at night. It also comes equipped with an esky (no fridge), portable gas stove and sink. The camper van has roof racks which can accommodate extra luggage or surfboards. Backpacker offer older campervans (3 - 6 years) and are an economical way to explore Australia. The Backpacker Breezer is available from all locations (excluding Broome and Alice Springs).

2/3 Berth Nomad

The Backpacker 2/3 Berth Nomad can accommodate 2 adults (or 2 adults and 1 child). Backpacker offer older campervans (3 - 6 years) and are an economical way to explore Australia. The Nomad comes equipped with a fridge, microwave, gas stove and sink. The vehicle also comes with a double bed and single bed. A side awning can be fitted to the Nomad to provide shade on those hot and sunny days. The Backpacker Nomad is available from all locations across the country (excluding Broome). 2 Berth Wanderer

The Backpacker 2 Berth Wanderer (Shower/Toilet) is an economy campervan (3-6 years old) available across Australia with Backpacker Rentals. The camper van comes with shower and toilet facilities, air-conditioning and heating as well as full kitchen equipment. The vehicle has a 2.2L turbo diesel engine and full consumption is approximately 16 litres per 100 kilometres. The Wanderer is available from all major locations and one-way rentals are possible (subject to minimum rental periods). The Wanderer is an affordable way to discover the sights and sounds of Australia.

4 Berth Warrior

The Backpacker 4 Berth Warrior a 3+ year old campervan suitable for 3-4 adults on a budget. The vehicle offers automatic transmission with a 2.6L unleaded petrol engine. Internal features include 2 double beds and mini kitchen facilties (gas stove, fridge, microwave and sink). The side sliding door offers easy access into the main cabin of the campervan. For small families, a baby or booster seat can also be fitted to the rear seats. Backpacker offer branches in all major locations (excluding Broome and Hobart). 4WD Off-Roader

The Backpacker 4WD Off-Roader is suitable for 2 adults (or 2 adults and 1 child). The campervan offers 3 seatbelts in the driver's cabin (middle seatbelt is a lap belt only). The Off-Roader is built on a Troopcarrier chassis with a diesel engine. The 4WD campervan includes a double bed and single bed, kitchen facilities (including fridge and gas stove) and an outdoor handheld solar shower. The Off-Roader is available for hire from any of Backpacker's branches across Australia. The vehicle is popular during the dry season in the northern states so enquire early to avoid missing out.
